Overview

Spintronic inductors are heavy, allowing them to build momentum. It takes a lot of energy to get them moving, but once they are moving, they don't want to stop.

Detailed description

These spintronic inductors have a fixed value of 55 spin henrys. They build significant momentum even with low currents. The three steel balls at the perimeter of the inductor also act as flyweights, causing the inductor to brake itself under high current. This is a safety feature to stop the inductor from building up an unsafe amount of energy.

Joshua G. ★★★★★

Once you get this spinning, the momentum is incredible—it keeps going for way longer than I expected. The weight gives it a satisfying heft that just feels solid. Definitely worth the extra effort to get it started.

Edward ★★★★★

Wasn't ready for how much effort it takes to spin this thing up, but that's the whole point. Once it's moving, it just keeps going, and the momentum holds way longer than I expected from a 55 H part.

Joseph ★★★★★

Mounted this on my test rig expecting the usual spin-up lag, but the momentum it holds once it's going is genuinely impressive. It's heavy enough that you feel the energy going in, yet it just keeps coasting with barely any input after that.
